Camping holiday next to the river Moselle
Situated between the cities of Trier and Koblenz you find our campsite in Zell next to the river Moselle. It was completely redesigned and renovated a few years ago.
We now offer you large pitches, each of them provided with electricity, fresh water supply and sewage. There is a WiFi hotspot for access to the internet. Apart from a tent and caravan area there are also separate sites with pitches for motorhomes. A playground and a barbecue area invite you to linger and have fun. Or just lean back and have a chat in our wine and beer garden.
You see – there is everything you need to feel comfortable. The whole area is protected by a fence and a gate. If you feel like shopping, it just takes a 5 to 10 minutes’ walk to the town centre of Zell. We have a lot of information leaflets with tips for excursions to the surroundings.
Sweet dreams in a sleeping barrel
Take the opportunity to sleep in a real wine barrel, which was used to vinify and store 9,500 litres of wine only a few years ago. This unique sleeping accommodation next to the river offers you:
- a double bed (1.4 m)
- bluetooth speakers
- a covered veranda with chairs
Of course, you may use the sanitary facilities on the campsite. Start your day with having breakfast on the veranda, in the beer garden or in the reception area. You can choose individually from different breakfast varieties.
Playground – children welcome!
We make our little guests feel big! Our pirate playground is waiting for your children to be discovered! Here they will find a treasure island, a pirate ship and a lighthouse and have a lot of fun using the slide, climbing rope, balancing beam, climbing pole and climbing wall.
We want your children to feel at home and have a good time! The playground is located right next to the beer garden, so that your children are always within sight.
Beer garden
While your children are having fun in the playground area, you can enjoy your time and relax in the beer garden (right next to it). The beer garden is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offers freshly drafted beer as well as wines of the local site “Zeller Schwarze Katz”. Of course, you can also choose from a variety of soft drinks, or maybe eat a homemade tarte flambée. The fantastic view is included! What more could you ask for?
Clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities
Of course, clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities await you. The sanitary building, which was built just a few years ago, offers you bright, modern and heated toilets and shower cabins at 4-star level. The building is open for our guests all year. The sanitary area in the main building was also completely renovated and modernised a few years ago.
Little shop on site
Our little, but well-assorted shop offers freshly-baked rolls, essential food items, daily newspapers, soft drinks, regional products and wine, as well as drugstore items. If you need more, you’ll find big supermarkets and discounters nearby (5 minutes by car).
Open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (during summer until 7 p.m.)
Breakfast in our small café
Start your day with having breakfast in the beer garden or in the reception area. You can choose individually from different breakfast varieties. Of course we offer you freshly baked rolls every day. And just ask us, if you would like a coffee to go.
Washing area
There is a washing-up and laundry room on site, which is at your disposal 24 hours a day. Here you find

- two sinks for washing up your dishes
- a hot plate (Ceran)
Coins for using the machines are available at the reception.
